Refund Policy

14-day free trial — $0 at signup, and nothing is charged during the trial. Cancel anytime before day 15 and you pay nothing at all.
This document was prepared to support the launch of the Kostiak Green platform and is not a substitute for legal advice from a licensed attorney.
1. Free trial — you are never charged by surprise
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial of the Platform. A valid payment method is collected at signup, but you are charged $0 during the trial. You can cancel at any time during the trial — from your account settings or by emailing hello@kostiak.pro — and you will not be charged anything.
2. When billing starts
Unless you cancel during the trial, your subscription for the plan you selected (Local, Professional, or Corporate) begins automatically on day 15 and your payment method is charged then, and on each renewal after that, until you cancel. Payments are processed by Paddle.com on our behalf. We send a reminder email before your trial ends.
3. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by emailing hello@kostiak.pro. Cancellation stops all future billing immediately — there are no cancellation fees and no further charges after you cancel. You keep access to paid features through the end of the billing period you already paid for.
4. Refunds for the current billing period
Because you control exactly when your paid subscription starts (it never starts without your action) and can cancel at any time before your next renewal, we do not offer partial or prorated refunds for the unused portion of a current monthly or annual billing period. If you cancel, you simply will not be billed again, and you keep access until the period you already paid for ends.
5. Billing errors and exceptional circumstances
If you believe you were charged in error — for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after you cancelled — email hello@kostiak.pro with your account email and the charge in question. We respond within 2 business days, and where a billing error is confirmed we issue the refund promptly — it typically appears on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
6. Annual plans
We currently offer monthly billing only. If annual plans are introduced in the future, their specific refund terms will be described here before they go on sale.
7. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first at hello@kostiak.pro so we can resolve it directly. Initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us may result in suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
